Ok for those that keep up with me. Here is a little update on my book.

Entitled The Third Heaven: The Rise of Fallen Stars the book currently stands at 378 pages and 106, 028 words. I am still strengthening the character stories, plugging a few holes in the draft, and smoothing the prose. But its nearing the end.

What is the book about you ask?

I love the Bible. I love the story of how Lucifer, chose to usurp God, and in his audacity was able to convince a third of heavens populace to join him. I have always wondered, what events, were so compelling that Heaven itself could be shredded by civil war? What weakness did Lucifer perceive in God that he thought he could exploit and usurp the King of the universe? What strategy did the Adversary assume would catapult him to rule? And was his motivation purely selfish? Was it due entirely to the creation of man as some might suggest?

My protagonist Michael ponders similar questions as he overlooks the Lake of Fire; in the prologue he sees his brother Lucifer amidst the flames and engages in conversation one last moment before he and his brother forever part ways: a question that Micheal asks as he looks over the flowing monstrosity of punishment which is that Lake of Fire and reflectively asks…

“How did it come to this?”

If you think you would like to preview the book and give me feedback I am looking for two final beta readers. I also want to thank Philip Andrew Wardlow, for  giving me great feedback.

And stay tuned for another trailer!
