Here is a piece I’ve recently stumbled across.
It starts with a majestic militaristic tone of somberness. And then ascends into a pounding march of foreboding that danger is coming. Or that a battle is about to commence It then waves, in choral echoes that underpin the battle that might be underway. Then rises with a conclusion of choral chant, that leaves you wanting to hear more. It’s a powerful piece.
